Immature Stages of Thysanoptera

 

Detailed information on immature stages of Thysanoptera is being acquired.  However, Taylor (1930) noted that the nymphs feed extensively on Aspidiotus destructor Sign. in various parts of the world.  The eggs are laid in empty puparia or beneath scale covers ant sometimes in scales that had been parasitized.
